Day 1: Why This Blog Exists

Here is a bet worth making. One post a day about Oracle Supply Chain Management, every day, no skipping. The configurations nobody documents. The settings that behave one way in the guide and another way in your pod. The stuff you only learn by breaking it first.

Why bother? Two reasons, and neither is complicated.

The first is almost selfish. For Gowtham, writing something down is the fastest way to find out he does not actually understand it. Anyone can nod along to a setup in a meeting and feel perfectly confident, then sit down to explain it and hit holes everywhere. A daily post drags those holes into the light. Explaining a thing clearly and understanding a thing turn out to be the same skill, and most people have less of it than they think.

The second reason is out in the open. Oracle ACE recognition goes to people who share what they know, publicly and often. So rather than let good notes rot in a private folder, they land here, where they might actually help someone.

Expect most of these to be quick. A strange setting and how to tame it. A short walkthrough. A lesson pulled straight from a live issue that cost someone an afternoon. Once in a while a post will go deep and take something apart piece by piece.
